From January to June 2025, we expanded temperature monitoring to seven busduct feeders at Company S's new OLED factory.
The added equipment was connected to spare channels on the existing DTS units and monitoring system. Coverage extends from the electrical room to the end of the FAB, including every joint and the interiors of tap-off boxes.
Ambient temperature enclosures were added for each feeder to support reports comparing equipment temperatures with FAB conditions. Power measurements for each feeder continue to be received from the power monitoring system so that temperature changes can be examined as loads increase.
The additional alarm information was incorporated into the existing interface with the site-wide SCADA system.
Topics: DTS and distributed fiber optic monitoring, power equipment, busducts and busways, load-versus-temperature analysis, ambient-versus-equipment temperature analysis and 3D monitoring.
