Woori System completed a temperature monitoring system for OO Chemical's 154 kV power cables with integrated optical fibers at the end of April 2015.

The system automatically monitors two circuits with three phases over 3.2 km, totaling 19.2 km of power cables, around the clock.

Functions added to the existing DMS include web client monitoring with a web server; detection of temperature differences between phases A, B and C; monitoring of temperature differences between adjacent sections one meter apart; and report generation with graphs and automatic printing.
