Following the initial installation at two substations in 2016, we completed temperature monitoring systems for power equipment at nine substations of Company OOO in November 2018. All of the company's substations can now be monitored automatically, 24 hours a day, using fiber optic sensing cables.

Monitoring is available from dedicated HMI PCs and web clients within the company. Monitoring data is also transmitted through OPC communication to the DCS OPC server for integrated monitoring from the higher-level system.

When an alarm occurs, the system automatically displays the location, time and temperature in an alarm event popup, sounds an audible alarm and sends the event to operators through the company's SMS system. Seasonal alarm settings are applied automatically. These functions support continuous unattended equipment monitoring.
