In July 2018, we completed a power equipment monitoring system for Steelmaking Plant No. 2 at OOO Steelworks. The system automatically monitors power cable rooms, utility tunnels and culverts, cable joints and tap-off boxes.

The existing Emerson wireless point temperature sensors were integrated into our system for more efficient monitoring.

Coverage includes cable room power trays and tap-off boxes; utility tunnel power cables and joints; joints on shared cable support structures using existing wireless sensors; and the battery voltage of the wireless equipment serving those sensors.

The installation automated equipment previously monitored manually. Operators can view facilities on drawings resembling the actual site or group similar equipment logically for focused, more intuitive monitoring.
