In March 2021, we completed a DC busduct temperature monitoring system for OO Corporation. Multipoint temperature sensors automatically monitor the busduct joints.
High voltage and high current in DC busducts can cause electromagnetic interference when conventional electronic or semiconductor sensors are used, affecting measurement accuracy and equipment life. The sensors used in this installation apply a patented method developed through extensive testing and improvement to address these problems and provide stable measurement.
Sensors were installed at every joint on both the positive and negative busducts. Temperature data is collected through a communication method designed to withstand electromagnetic interference.
The monitoring display models the actual equipment in 3D, allowing operators to work with a view resembling the site. The system also interfaces with OO Corporation's higher-level system.
Topics: multipoint sensors, DC busduct monitoring, 3D monitoring, electromagnetic effects on temperature sensors, patented DC busduct monitoring, and monitoring by load and joint.
