Woori System completed a temperature monitoring system for Company L's 154 kV power cables with integrated optical fibers at the end of April 2015.

The system monitors two circuits, each with three phases (A/B/C), over 3.2 km: 19.2 km of power cables monitored around the clock. The cables are LS Cable power cables with integrated optical fibers, arranged in two transmission circuits.

In addition to the existing DMS functions, the installation provides web client monitoring with a web server, monitoring of temperature differences between phases and between sections or distances, and report generation with graphs and automatic printing.
