From September 2020 to September 2022, we installed a pipeline temperature monitoring system at oil production facilities in the United Arab Emirates.

The installation covers a 12 km pipeline from the jetty to the processing plant and 2 km of transfer pipelines inside the plant. The original Korean article describes these as sulfuric acid pipelines. Monitoring was designed for high-temperature operation at 135 to 160 degrees Celsius.

The project included the documentation, installation procedures, certificates and testing required at each stage under the international standards applicable to the UAE project, including requirements for installation in explosion-hazard areas.

Additional communication fibers were incorporated into the supplied optical cable to provide long-distance communications infrastructure across the desert. The system also interfaces with the DCS controlling the oil production facilities.
