In December 2022, we completed the third stage, or second expansion, of Company L's blast furnace surface temperature monitoring system.

The furnace operates year-round with surface temperatures of 200 to 250 degrees Celsius. The system continuously detects departures from the normal range that may indicate problems with internal refractory bricks or the furnace surface.

High-temperature fiber optic sensing cable was used, and the channel switch was expanded from two to four channels.

DCS communication was changed from Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP to provide the additional data requested by the higher-level system.
