In April 2026, we completed a temperature monitoring system for power equipment in Units 7 and 8 at S Power Station.

A single server monitors both units. Operators can control and monitor the system from equipment in the central control room and the MCC room.

Coverage includes MCC room power cables, underground cable room power trays, 345 kV extra-high-voltage cables and joints in underground utility tunnels, utility tunnel power trays, and pyrite conveyor belt equipment.

Fiber optic sensing cables were installed by phase to support temperature monitoring by both load and phase.
